History
of our Bakery.
There
has been a Luxury Bakery on the corner of Alfall Road since
before the war, in fact part of the building used to be
an Anderson shelter (which we now fondly refer to as the
dugout). The Miles family bought the bakery in 1970 from
Mr Joe Ryan who had renamed it after himself.
Reverting
back to the original name we proceeded to build a family
craft bakery. It is situated in the residential area of
Stoke in Coventry and has been supplying the local neighbourhood
with quality bread and confectionery ever since.
We
now have a thriving wholesale business supplying local hotels,
schools and catering outlets.
We
have over the years built an enviable reputation for our
high quality Wedding and Celebration cakes, these range
from a simple birthday cake with a message on top to a specialist
wedding cake made to the customers requirements.
An
ever increasing section of our celebration cake market is
made up of eggless cake. This is a soft eggless sponge covered
with fresh cream with fruit in the middle. As this cake
is free from animal products it is proving very popular
with vegetarian customers.
Another
recent development is our range of corporate Christmas cakes.
A new and intuitive way of thanking your customers or rewarding
your suppliers. A Christmas cake with your company logo
is a welcome gift in any workplace. |
